What the plan page establishes
ElevenLabs’ published plans combine text-to-speech with other audio and creative products. The pricing page lists Starter at US$6 per month with 30,000 credits and a commercial licence. Creator is US$22 per month, with a displayed first-month promotion. These are plan facts, not a recommendation based on listening. Published pricing, checked 16 September 2026. What remains untested
This edition has no independently generated ElevenLabs recordings, account screenshots or first-hand session log. Naturalness, emotional range and pronunciation control are therefore unscored. A model name will be displayed only when it belongs to the actual recording.
The planned test preserves the first take of each shared script, then compares four retries. It records whether each take is usable, what correction was needed, and the total time to a finished export. A selected vendor demo would not substitute for this evidence.
Pricing and retakes
Credits are shared across products, and model choice changes character consumption. Generation costs and time spent correcting output should both enter a production budget. Do not assume the headline allowance equals finished narration after retakes. Pricing claims in this paragraph were checked against the pricing page on 16 September 2026.
The voiceover cost calculator lets you enter a quote, finished workload, retakes and editing time. Its default inputs are fictional and exclude introductory discounts. Keep the workload fixed when comparing quotes.
Licensing and voice permission
ElevenLabs’ publication guidance allows commercial use of output generated during a paid subscription subject to rights, applicable terms and product-specific conditions. Beta Services are excluded. Who should shortlist it, and who should not
Shortlist it when a web workflow and an identifiable commercial plan matter to the project. Audition the exact voice and model over a complete paragraph before paying for a longer commitment.
Do not treat the available free plan as a verified commercial workflow. Do not treat this page as proof that ElevenLabs sounds better than Fish Audio; that judgement needs matched recordings.
