You need expressive character dialogue
A convincing single line is not enough. Test consecutive lines with changes in intensity, preserve the voice identity, and check how often direction needs to be repeated. Audition both with the character script above. The result may be that neither produces a reliable performance for your project.
You are integrating a speech API
Record streaming behaviour, first-audio latency, error handling and the selected model’s terms. Keep creator subscriptions separate from API quotes. Compare identical input bytes and output settings; pricing units and model versions must be visible in the result.
You need a commercial licence you can document
Read the agreement for the actual plan and model, then keep a dated copy with the project. Verify voice permissions as a separate step.
